Museum of Bastia

Museum of Bastia

Since 2004, the Museum of History of Bastia is nestled in the Palace of the Genoese Governors, built around 1380, The permanent exhibition has three main themes: town planning, political, social and economic influence of the town and its rich intellectual and artistic heritage.

This is also the most beautiful point of view on Bastia. From the terraced gardens, the circular panorama is striking: burning gray roofs under the sun, the majestic St Jean Baptiste church, the Old Port, the Port of Commerce, the Quays, blue sea and green hills… a total enchantment and more!

The tour includes a local tasting inside the Citadel.
