A beautiful half-day walk with an instructor from L’Ile-Rousse or Lozari beach. At the rhythm of your paddle, float and relax on the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean !

2 different walks are possible, depending on the direction of the winds :
– Lozari beach, the gates of Agriate: walk along sumptuous cliffs towards this protected natural
site.
– From L’Ile-Rousse: a more coastal route to the red stoned islands which gave its name to the city, with a magnificent Genoese tower on the horizon.

L’Île-Rousse was founded in 1758 by Pasquale Paoli, a Corsican patriot leader, who designed and wrote the Constitution of the State, which was a representative democracy.

Nowadays, L’Ile-Rousse is charming and genuine village to visit, from the Marinella to the Market square, you will follow the narrow cobbled streets to discover some of the local artisans, to Paoli Square for a petanque game with a local tasting.

Balagne Scenic drive

A relaxing tour and scenic treat !

This guided driving tour takes you through Corsica’s picturesque Balagne region, which is overflowing with olive groves, fruit orchards, and velvet green hills.
You’ll set off towards Notre Dame de la Serra, an 18th century chapel that offers sweeping views of the mountains and Calvi below.

Next, you’ll venture through the countryside, passing the ruins of an ancient silver mine, as well as the Genoese tower where Pince Bonaparte built his hunting pavilion in 1852.

From here, you’ll head through the Fango Valley. Driving on, you’ll make tracks for the coastal wildlige reserve of Scandola.

At last, you will discover the Cirque of Bonifato, a dense forest filled with evergreens and pines. A relaxing tour and scenic treat!

Dropping by the past from Calvi to l’Ile-Rousse…

Corsica main’s appeal is its scenery and this pleasant excursion will take you on winding road from one picturesque village to another.

You will discover the hinterland of the Balagne region along a scenic road that will take you through the old villages which overlook some of the most fertile land of the island.

The visit includes a stop of an olive oil mill with a tasting and a stop in L’Ile-Rousse where free time is afforded fro browsing.

Return to Calvi after having explored this charming village.

Nestled on the heights of Calvi, in the small village of Zilia surrounded by mountains and overlooking the bay of Calvi, the estate has been owned by the Acquaviva family for 3
generations.

We will take an intimate guided tour of its cellars, to discover the emblematic grape varieties of Corsica, which will be followed by a wine pairing with local products, for some produced in the same village of Zilia.

Geographical heart of the island, Corte was also the capital of Corsica, from 1755 to 1769 !

Geographical heart of the island, Corte was also the capital of Corsica, from 1755 to 1769, during the “government of the Corsican nation” of Pascal Paoli and the city has preserved many testimonies of this period such as the National Palace.

The old town has an authentic character. Its old houses, in schist and with Genoese shutters, form a harmonious whole. A belvedere allows you to observe, below, the confluence of three rivers: the Restonica, the Tavignanu and the Orta.

Overlooking the old town, the fortifications of the citadel house the Regional Museum of Anthropology of Corsica. The southern point of the enclosure has a second level, a rocky promontory on which stands the castle of Vincentello d’Istria.

This eagle’s nest offers a breathtaking view of the city and the beautiful surrounding mountains.
